Kunlun Law Firm Beijing Office has been approved by the Beijing Municipal Justice Bureau for operation on August 2006. The opening of our Beijing Office is a strategic step of Kunlun Law Firm toward a national, comprehensive and international law firm, forming a south-north concord situation among our Beijing office and Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen offices.At A508, Nanxincang International Tower in Dongsi Shitiao of Dongcheng District, Kunlun Law Firm Beijing Office is located in the historic central business areas of Beijing next to the embassy district. “Nanxincang” is a famous royal barn site of more than 600 years of history, and has been classified as a historic and cultural relic of national importance for conservation. Mr. Lei developed his international legal skills during more than 10-years’ practice with international law firms such as Coudert Brothers Paris office and Paris-based Thieffry & Associes, where he advised on FDI and various transnational investment projects, and was directly involved in more than 50 Sino-foreign Joint Ventures, WFOE and international BOT projects, advising such large multinational companies in their China projects as ABB, Carrefour, Elfi, Alstom, BNP, GAP, Lacoste, Total, Sumitomo, Samsung Beijing, Halla Concrete, and Bank of China and SinoChem etc..
Mr. Lei is the Assistant Editor and a co-author of the book “Business Law in China”, published by ICC in 1997.Co-author of La distribution – Chine and Europe, published by Thieffry et Ass. He has published more than 10 articles or books on Chinese and international business law topics in French (JDI-Clunet, JDAI/IBLJ) and Chinese law journals.

Crystal Mo JINResponsible for FDI and transborder M&A
Beijing and Shanghai Branches, responsible for international business dept. MBA at Rennes International School of Business in France, LL.B. obtained at Renmin University of China (RUC).
Ms. Jin specializes in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), international Merger and Acquisition, Private Equity transactions, investment funds and corporate issues.
Before joining Kunlun Law Firm, she worked for Zhong Yin Law Office and French international corporations both in business (marketing and purchase) and legal fields (legal advise on FDI projects in China).
She has been fully involved in several large and sophisticated transnational M&A deals concerning automobile components and pharmaceutical, and also contributed her talents in other FDI projects concerning mining, energy and other industries, real estate project restructuring, M&A and corporate restructuring, international trade contracts, intellectual property, franchising etc.. Ms. Jin was fully involved in the project of stock transfer of Topfond Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd to Sumitomo Corporation, and contributed to the successful closing of this project.
Ms. Jin has also advised a French company on the enforcement of an international arbitral award in the courts of the PRC, and advised and represented before Shanghai Maritime Court the Spanish company Conservas de Combados SA and won the case. She has recently advised East Delta Resources Inc., a public company traded at Toronto and NY Stock Exchanges, concerning their China gold mining projects and related PRC legal issues.

Dr. Cheng specializes in FDI and corporate, M&A, competition, international arbitration and European Union affairs. Worked with international and governmental organizations such as International Foundation of Human Rights, Political and Institutional direction, EU Brussels, European Court of Human Rights and Legal Division of Chinese Ministry of Culture. He advises and represents French and European companies, international organizations (in particular NGOs), and Chinese enterprises in their China and transnational business operations.
